North & Middle Andaman

North & Middle Andaman is a district in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Union Territory of India. Total area of North & Middle Andaman is 3,736 km² including 3,730.05 km² rural area and 5.95 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, North & Middle Andaman has a population of 1,05,597 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,741 while rural population is 1,02,856. North & Middle Andaman has a sex ratio of approximately 924 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 28 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 26,199 houses in the district, including 724 urban houses and 25,475 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 198 villages in north & middle andaman district.

The North & Middle Andaman district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
