Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam is a district in the Andhra Pradesh State of India. The total area of Visakhapatnam district is 11,161 km², which includes 10,528.84 km² of rural area and 632.16 km² of urban area. There are about 3,072 villages in Visakhapatnam district.

For administrative convenience, Visakhapatnam district is divided into Tehsils, Blocks, PS, and Community Development Blocks (C.D. Blocks). In many states, Blocks or C.D. Blocks are treated the same as tehsils, though they may have slightly different roles depending on the region.
