Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh

Vizianagaram District is an administrative district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated about 490 km from Amaravati, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Vizianagaram. Telugu and Odia are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,539 km², including 6,398.94 km² of rural area and 140.06 km² of urban area.
