West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh
West Godavari District is an administrative district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated about 120 km from Amaravati, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Bhimavaram. Telugu is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,742 km², including 7,586.61 km² of rural area and 155.39 km² of urban area.
