Bongaigaon
Bongaigaon is a district in the Assam State of India. Total area of Bongaigaon is 1,093 km² including 1,061.31 km² rural area and 31.69 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bongaigaon has a population of 7,38,804 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,09,810 while rural population is 6,28,994. Bongaigaon has a sex ratio of approximately 965 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 675.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,50,018 houses in the district, including 24,923 urban houses and 1,25,095 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 535 villages in bongaigaon district.
