Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon is a district in the Assam State of India. Total area of Bongaigaon is 1,093 km² including 1,061.31 km² rural area and 31.69 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bongaigaon has a population of 7,38,804 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,09,810 while rural population is 6,28,994. Bongaigaon has a sex ratio of approximately 965 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 675.9 inhabitants per square kilometre.
