Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh is a district in the Assam State of India. Total area of Dibrugarh is 3,381 km² including 3,335.52 km² rural area and 45.48 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dibrugarh has a population of 13,26,335 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,43,730 while rural population is 10,82,605. Dibrugarh has a sex ratio of approximately 960 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 392.3 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,76,867 houses in the district, including 54,453 urban houses and 2,22,414 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,318 villages in dibrugarh district.
