Dima Hasao is a district in the Assam State of India. Total area of Dima Hasao is 4,888 km² including 4,866.23 km² rural area and 21.77 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dima Hasao has a population of 2,14,102 peoples, out of which urban population is 62,489 while rural population is 1,51,613. The district has a population density of 43.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 42,252 houses in the district, including 12,963 urban houses and 29,289 rural houses.
