Sivasagar is a district in the Assam State of India. Total area of Sivasagar is 2,668 km² including 2,625.07 km² rural area and 42.93 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sivasagar has a population of 11,51,050 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,10,096 while rural population is 10,40,954. Sivasagar has a sex ratio of approximately 953 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 431.4 inhabitants per square kilometre.
