Udalguri

Udalguri is a district in the Assam State of India. Total area of Udalguri is 2,012 km² including 2,002.13 km² rural area and 9.87 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Udalguri has a population of 8,31,668 peoples, out of which urban population is 37,574 while rural population is 7,94,094. Udalguri has a sex ratio of approximately 972 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 413.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,68,717 houses in the district, including 8,313 urban houses and 1,60,404 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 791 villages in udalguri district.
