Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Bhagalpur is 2,569 km² including 2,499.90 km² rural area and 69.10 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bhagalpur has a population of 30,37,766 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,02,532 while rural population is 24,35,234. Bhagalpur has a sex ratio of approximately 880 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1182 inhabitants per square kilometre.
