Gaya

Gaya is a district in the Bihar State of India. The total area of Gaya district is 4,976 km², which includes 4,890.74 km² of rural area and 85.26 km² of urban area. There are about 2,682 villages in Gaya district.

For administrative convenience, Gaya district is divided into Tehsils, Blocks, PS, and Community Development Blocks (C.D. Blocks). In many states, Blocks or C.D. Blocks are treated the same as tehsils, though they may have slightly different roles depending on the region.
