Kaimur

Kaimur is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Kaimur is 3,332 km² including 3,319.55 km² rural area and 12.45 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kaimur has a population of 16,26,384 peoples, out of which urban population is 65,571 while rural population is 15,60,813. Kaimur has a sex ratio of approximately 920 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 488 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,50,884 houses in the district, including 10,189 urban houses and 2,40,695 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,337 villages in kaimur district.
