Kishanganj

Kishanganj is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Kishanganj is 1,884 km² including 1,814.25 km² rural area and 69.75 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kishanganj has a population of 16,90,400 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,61,123 while rural population is 15,29,277. Kishanganj has a sex ratio of approximately 949 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 897 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,38,445 houses in the district, including 31,948 urban houses and 3,06,497 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 732 villages in kishanganj district.
