Madhepura
Madhepura is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Madhepura is 1,788 km² including 1,746.83 km² rural area and 41.17 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Madhepura has a population of 20,01,762 peoples, out of which urban population is 88,461 while rural population is 19,13,301. Madhepura has a sex ratio of approximately 910 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1120 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,01,289 houses in the district, including 17,433 urban houses and 3,83,856 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 380 villages in madhepura district.
