Munger

Munger is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Munger is 1,419 km² including 1,377.54 km² rural area and 41.46 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Munger has a population of 13,67,765 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,80,120 while rural population is 9,87,645. Munger has a sex ratio of approximately 876 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 964 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,63,171 houses in the district, including 71,010 urban houses and 1,92,161 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 534 villages in munger district.
