Vaishali

Vaishali is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Vaishali is 2,036 km² including 1,998.48 km² rural area and 37.52 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Vaishali has a population of 34,95,021 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,33,079 while rural population is 32,61,942. Vaishali has a sex ratio of approximately 894 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1717 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,26,087 houses in the district, including 38,280 urban houses and 5,87,807 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,422 villages in vaishali district.
