Raigarh

Raigarh is a district in the Chhattisgarh State of India. Total area of Raigarh is 7,086 km² including 6,966.50 km² rural area and 119.50 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Raigarh has a population of 14,93,984 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,46,302 while rural population is 12,47,682. Raigarh has a sex ratio of approximately 991 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 210.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,67,962 houses in the district, including 55,162 urban houses and 3,12,800 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,426 villages in raigarh district.

The Raigarh district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
