Diu is a district in the Daman & Diu Union Territory of India. Total area of Diu is 39 km² including 27.34 km² rural area and 11.66 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Diu has a population of 52,074 peoples, out of which urban population is 23,991 while rural population is 28,083.
