North East Delhi

North East Delhi is a district in the Delhi National Capital Territory of India. Total area of North East Delhi is 62 km² including 14.63 km² rural area and 47.37 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, North East Delhi has a population of 22,41,624 peoples, out of which urban population is 22,20,097 while rural population is 21,527. North East Delhi has a sex ratio of approximately 886 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 36155 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,06,125 houses in the district, including 4,02,187 urban houses and 3,938 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 8 villages in north east delhi district.

The North East Delhi district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
