North West Delhi

North West Delhi is a district in the Delhi National Capital Territory of India. Total area of North West Delhi is 443 km² including 170.75 km² rural area and 272.25 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, North West Delhi has a population of 36,56,539 peoples, out of which urban population is 34,42,589 while rural population is 2,13,950. North West Delhi has a sex ratio of approximately 864 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 8254 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,36,253 houses in the district, including 6,95,753 urban houses and 40,500 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 48 villages in north west delhi district.

The North West Delhi district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
