West Delhi

West Delhi is a district in the Delhi National Capital Territory of India. Total area of West Delhi is 130 km² including 6.86 km² rural area and 123.14 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, West Delhi has a population of 25,43,243 peoples, out of which urban population is 25,36,823 while rural population is 6,420. West Delhi has a sex ratio of approximately 875 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 19563 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,33,221 houses in the district, including 5,32,051 urban houses and 1,170 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2 villages in west delhi district.

The West Delhi district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
