Ahmadabad
Ahmadabad is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Ahmadabad is 8,107 km² including 7,186.56 km² rural area and 920.44 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ahmadabad has a population of 72,14,225 peoples, out of which urban population is 60,63,047 while rural population is 11,51,178. Ahmadabad has a sex ratio of approximately 904 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 889.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 15,10,134 houses in the district, including 12,81,652 urban houses and 2,28,482 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 506 villages in ahmadabad district.
