Anand

Anand is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Anand is 3,204 km² including 2,904.01 km² rural area and 299.99 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Anand has a population of 20,92,745 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,34,987 while rural population is 14,57,758. Anand has a sex ratio of approximately 924 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 653.2 inhabitants per square kilometre.
