Bhavnagar

Bhavnagar is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Bhavnagar is 10,034 km² including 9,625.46 km² rural area and 408.54 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bhavnagar has a population of 28,80,365 peoples, out of which urban population is 11,82,401 while rural population is 16,97,964. Bhavnagar has a sex ratio of approximately 932 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 287.1 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,38,605 houses in the district, including 2,36,235 urban houses and 3,02,370 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 783 villages in bhavnagar district.
