Bhavnagar is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Bhavnagar is 10,034 km² including 9,625.46 km² rural area and 408.54 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bhavnagar has a population of 28,80,365 peoples, out of which urban population is 11,82,401 while rural population is 16,97,964. Bhavnagar has a sex ratio of approximately 932 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 287.1 inhabitants per square kilometre.
