Junagadh is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Junagadh is 8,831 km² including 8,366.18 km² rural area and 464.82 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Junagadh has a population of 27,43,082 peoples, out of which urban population is 9,06,412 while rural population is 18,36,670. The district has a population density of 310.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,27,326 houses in the district, including 1,79,624 urban houses and 3,47,702 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 901 villages in junagadh district.
