Kheda

Kheda is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Kheda is 3,953 km² including 3,738.62 km² rural area and 214.38 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kheda has a population of 22,99,885 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,23,609 while rural population is 17,76,276. Kheda has a sex ratio of approximately 939 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 581.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,66,856 houses in the district, including 1,07,165 urban houses and 3,59,691 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 615 villages in kheda district.

The Kheda district is further divided in to Talukas / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
