Mahesana

Mahesana is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Mahesana is 4,401 km² including 4,212.67 km² rural area and 188.33 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mahesana has a population of 20,35,064 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,14,330 while rural population is 15,20,734. Mahesana has a sex ratio of approximately 926 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 462.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,24,479 houses in the district, including 1,07,943 urban houses and 3,16,536 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 597 villages in mahesana district.
