Narmada

Narmada is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Narmada is 2,817 km² including 2,791.87 km² rural area and 25.13 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Narmada has a population of 5,90,297 peoples, out of which urban population is 61,872 while rural population is 5,28,425. Narmada has a sex ratio of approximately 960 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 209.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,22,174 houses in the district, including 13,212 urban houses and 1,08,962 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 558 villages in narmada district.
