Narmada is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Narmada is 2,817 km² including 2,791.87 km² rural area and 25.13 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Narmada has a population of 5,90,297 peoples, out of which urban population is 61,872 while rural population is 5,28,425. The district has a population density of 209.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,22,174 houses in the district, including 13,212 urban houses and 1,08,962 rural houses.
