Surendranagar

Surendranagar is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Surendranagar is 10,423 km² including 10,128.34 km² rural area and 294.66 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Surendranagar has a population of 17,56,268 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,96,916 while rural population is 12,59,352. Surendranagar has a sex ratio of approximately 930 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 168.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,43,213 houses in the district, including 1,02,409 urban houses and 2,40,804 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 647 villages in surendranagar district.
