Tapi

Tapi is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Tapi is 3,139 km² including 3,104.21 km² rural area and 34.79 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Tapi has a population of 8,07,022 peoples, out of which urban population is 79,487 while rural population is 7,27,535. Tapi has a sex ratio of approximately 1006 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 257.1 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,77,091 houses in the district, including 17,063 urban houses and 1,60,028 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 451 villages in tapi district.
