Hamirpur

Hamirpur is a district in the Himachal Pradesh State of India. Total area of Hamirpur is 1,118 km² including 1,106.39 km² rural area and 11.61 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Hamirpur has a population of 4,54,768 peoples, out of which urban population is 31,430 while rural population is 4,23,338. Hamirpur has a sex ratio of approximately 1095 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 407 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,05,519 houses in the district, including 7,404 urban houses and 98,115 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,671 villages in hamirpur district.
