Kullu

Kullu is a district in the Himachal Pradesh State of India. Total area of Kullu is 5,503 km² including 5,485.87 km² rural area and 17.13 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kullu has a population of 4,37,903 peoples, out of which urban population is 41,391 while rural population is 3,96,512. Kullu has a sex ratio of approximately 942 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 80 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 94,807 houses in the district, including 10,449 urban houses and 84,358 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 314 villages in kullu district.
