Sirmaur

Sirmaur is a district in the Himachal Pradesh State of India. Total area of Sirmaur is 2,825 km² including 2,805.88 km² rural area and 19.12 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sirmaur has a population of 5,29,855 peoples, out of which urban population is 57,165 while rural population is 4,72,690. Sirmaur has a sex ratio of approximately 917 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 188 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 98,208 houses in the district, including 13,121 urban houses and 85,087 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 968 villages in sirmaur district.
