Garhwa District, Jharkhand
Garhwa is an administrative district in Jharkhand, India. The district is located about 170 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Garhwa. Hindi, Pahari and Oraon are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,093 km², including 4,053.50 km² of rural area and 39.50 km² of urban area.
