Garhwa

Garhwa is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Garhwa is 4,093 km² including 4,053.50 km² rural area and 39.50 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Garhwa has a population of 13,22,784 peoples, out of which urban population is 69,670 while rural population is 12,53,114. Garhwa has a sex ratio of approximately 935 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 323.2 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,54,697 houses in the district, including 13,233 urban houses and 2,41,464 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 844 villages in garhwa district.
