Gumla District, Jharkhand

Gumla is an administrative district in Jharkhand, India. The district is located about 80 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Gumla. Hindi, Mundari, Santhali and Oraon are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 5,360 km², including 5,333.30 km² of rural area and 26.70 km² of urban area.
