Kodarma

Kodarma is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Kodarma is 2,540 km² including 2,462.67 km² rural area and 77.33 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kodarma has a population of 7,16,259 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,41,246 while rural population is 5,75,013. Kodarma has a sex ratio of approximately 950 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 282 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,16,155 houses in the district, including 24,462 urban houses and 91,693 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 577 villages in kodarma district.
