Pakur

Pakur is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Pakur is 1,811 km² including 1,792.41 km² rural area and 18.59 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Pakur has a population of 9,00,422 peoples, out of which urban population is 67,512 while rural population is 8,32,910. Pakur has a sex ratio of approximately 989 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 497.2 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,82,317 houses in the district, including 13,411 urban houses and 1,68,906 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,141 villages in pakur district.
