Palamu

Palamu is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. The total area of Palamu district is 4,393 km², which includes 4,308.56 km² of rural area and 84.44 km² of urban area. There are about 1,711 villages in Palamu district.

For administrative convenience, Palamu district is divided into Tehsils, Blocks, PS, and Community Development Blocks (C.D. Blocks). In many states, Blocks or C.D. Blocks are treated the same as tehsils, though they may have slightly different roles depending on the region.
