Palamu District, Jharkhand
Palamu is an administrative district in Jharkhand, India. The district is located about 150 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Daltonganj. Hindi, Oraon and Chero are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,393 km², including 4,308.56 km² of rural area and 84.44 km² of urban area.
