Pashchimi Singhbhum

Pashchimi Singhbhum is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Pashchimi Singhbhum is 7,224 km² including 7,110.08 km² rural area and 113.92 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Pashchimi Singhbhum has a population of 15,02,338 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,18,034 while rural population is 12,84,304. Pashchimi Singhbhum has a sex ratio of approximately 1004 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 208 inhabitants per square kilometre.
