Pashchimi Singhbhum is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Pashchimi Singhbhum is 7,224 km² including 7,110.08 km² rural area and 113.92 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Pashchimi Singhbhum has a population of 15,02,338 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,18,034 while rural population is 12,84,304. The district has a population density of 208 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,02,046 houses in the district, including 44,752 urban houses and 2,57,294 rural houses.
