East Singhbum District, Jharkhand

East Singhbum is an administrative district in Jharkhand, India. The district is located about 130 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Jamshedpur. Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Santhali and Ho are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,562 km², including 3,373.63 km² of rural area and 188.37 km² of urban area.
