Sahibganj

Sahibganj is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Sahibganj is 2,063 km² including 2,035.78 km² rural area and 27.22 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sahibganj has a population of 11,50,567 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,59,666 while rural population is 9,90,901. Sahibganj has a sex ratio of approximately 952 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 557.7 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,27,023 houses in the district, including 30,967 urban houses and 1,96,056 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,349 villages in sahibganj district.
