Thrissur

Thrissur is a district in the Kerala State of India. Total area of Thrissur is 3,027 km² including 1,865.83 km² rural area and 1,161.17 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Thrissur has a population of 31,21,200 peoples, out of which urban population is 20,96,406 while rural population is 10,24,794. Thrissur has a sex ratio of approximately 1107 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1031 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,59,210 houses in the district, including 5,08,333 urban houses and 2,50,877 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 98 villages in thrissur district.
