Betul

Betul is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Betul is 10,043 km² including 9,941.17 km² rural area and 101.83 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Betul has a population of 15,75,362 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,09,151 while rural population is 12,66,211. Betul has a sex ratio of approximately 971 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 156.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,29,832 houses in the district, including 67,953 urban houses and 2,61,879 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,344 villages in betul district.
