Bhopal

Bhopal is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Bhopal is 2,772 km² including 2,421.95 km² rural area and 350.05 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bhopal has a population of 23,71,061 peoples, out of which urban population is 19,17,051 while rural population is 4,54,010. Bhopal has a sex ratio of approximately 918 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 855.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,01,805 houses in the district, including 4,08,747 urban houses and 93,058 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 501 villages in bhopal district.
