Dewas District, Madhya Pradesh

Dewas District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 155 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Dewas. Hindi and Malvi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,020 km², including 6,808.49 km² of rural area and 211.51 km² of urban area.
