Khandwa

Khandwa is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Khandwa is 7,352 km² including 7,255.24 km² rural area and 96.76 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Khandwa has a population of 13,10,061 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,59,436 while rural population is 10,50,625. Khandwa has a sex ratio of approximately 942 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 178.2 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,66,655 houses in the district, including 50,473 urban houses and 2,16,182 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 711 villages in khandwa district.
