Mandla

Mandla is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Mandla is 5,800 km² including 5,734.50 km² rural area and 65.50 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mandla has a population of 10,54,905 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,30,189 while rural population is 9,24,716. Mandla has a sex ratio of approximately 1008 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 181.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,50,146 houses in the district, including 29,331 urban houses and 2,20,815 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,203 villages in mandla district.
