Panna

Panna is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Panna is 7,135 km² including 7,054.23 km² rural area and 80.77 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Panna has a population of 10,16,520 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,25,335 while rural population is 8,91,185. Panna has a sex ratio of approximately 905 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 142.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,28,709 houses in the district, including 25,170 urban houses and 2,03,539 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 947 villages in panna district.

The Panna district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
