Seoni is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Seoni is 8,758 km² including 8,698.14 km² rural area and 59.86 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Seoni has a population of 13,79,131 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,63,890 while rural population is 12,15,241. The district has a population density of 157.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,14,767 houses in the district, including 36,517 urban houses and 2,78,250 rural houses.
