Seoni

Seoni is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Seoni is 8,758 km² including 8,698.14 km² rural area and 59.86 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Seoni has a population of 13,79,131 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,63,890 while rural population is 12,15,241. Seoni has a sex ratio of approximately 981 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 157.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,14,767 houses in the district, including 36,517 urban houses and 2,78,250 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,579 villages in seoni district.
