Shajapur

Shajapur is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Shajapur is 6,195 km² including 6,081.96 km² rural area and 113.04 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Shajapur has a population of 15,12,681 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,93,548 while rural population is 12,19,133. Shajapur has a sex ratio of approximately 938 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 244.2 inhabitants per square kilometre.
